Common Sense Clause
A portion of a recent waiver:
- I acknowledge and fully understand that the above-named person will be engaging in activities on the Premises that may involve risk of serious or permanent injury, death, or damage to personal property, including pets, which could result from the person’s own actions, inactions, or negligence, or from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, or from conditions of the Premises, conditions of the weather, conditions of the landscape, or inherent dangers involved in activities on the Premises. Further, I acknowledge that there may be other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable at this time, including but not limited to:
a. Latent or apparent defects in the dock;
b. Acts of other people at the dock;
c. Acts of, behaviors of, or reactions to animals at the dock
d. The tenant / dock entrant’s physical or mental condition;
e. Failure to adhere to applicable rules;
f. Failure to adhere to common sense;
g. Provision of emergency treatment or services from any party, related or unrelated to astrofish.net.
