Sucked into the Abyss

Sucked into the Abyss

“Any thing but to th’ purpose. You were sent for, and there is a kind of confession in your looks, which your modesties have not craft enough to color. I know the good King and Queen have sent for you.”

Shakespeare’s Hamlet (II.ii.224)

I was taking one, last pass through the most current horoscopes — 11-26-2024 — checking and correcting mistakes, wording, one last hope to appease the grammar gods, and checking links. The linking I left off, and the links I built in, some while I was writing, and some not until the day before.

I found one old post that worked with the content of the specific sign’s horoscope, and I posted that hot-link into the aforementioned horoscope. Then I looked at the page I linked to, clicked on one of its internal links, and that led me to an older post that had no correct attribution. Plus two of the links were an outdated format for Apple iBooks linking.

Sucked into the Abyss

Over the course of this Mercury-in-Retrograde period, I’ve gradually tried to remove outdated links, outdated Amazon links, old YouTube link formats that are no longer viable, and some older hosting affiliate links that are currently not supported.

Sucked into the Abyss

I have to be careful, though, with Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius — my planets in Sagittarius — as I can get sucked into the abyss with correcting a link from a link, from a link. That’s three links down, or three hits away from whatever I was working on at the moment.
