Gray Fox

Gray Fox

I was in the middle of a phone consultation. I looked out the window. There, nestled in between a dormant AC and the leftover downspout splash plastic? A sleeping fox.

Noted elsewhere, and earlier, I’ve got a small nest of foxes that run through the neighborhood. Seen a feral cat or two, skunk, possum, the over-abundance of deer especially when in rut, and foxes.

A quick search of the meaning of the fox left me rather underwhelmed, it was all that fruity pseudo new-age crap about power animals, totems figures, and spirit guides.

Not what I was looking for.

The little fox seemed undisturbed by my noise as I was doing a reading. I carried on, ranted, raved, discussed the effects of Mars and Venus, in relative positions, and complained about the Mercury in Retrograde. In other words, the usual. Pluto in Aquarius, for the duration.

To have so many encounters with an urban dwelling critter, though, surely it means something.

Could just be another batch of survivors, spirits that learn to exist in a densely populated suburban area with people close at hand.

Slept right through the reading.
