I was wondering, unable to find that original notation, more a “talking to myself” kind of entry, about a book, about books I was reading.
Of interest, from the old entry?
“Just reading the text on the screen, where’s the fun in that?”
Some of this doesn’t age as well, now does it?
What’s changed? I prefer a digital library for everything but a few hard-copy texts, and the occasional first-edition.
Less than a quarter of a century on that.

Before heading towards the gulf and the beach, semi-annual trip, a little fishing, a little BBQ, some time in the water, and some sun?

Say You’ll Remember Me wasn’t for me, as I’ve already read a library copy. Annoyed that I enjoyed it so much, a light romance novel. Well-written, and I was heavily invested, and on this trip, there are two or three people who might enjoy it. Not my favorite genre, but good writing is good writing. One of them had already read that copy before we got to the beach.
