“The time is out of joint—O cursed spite,
That ever I was born to set it right!”
Hamlet (I.v)
Horoscopes for 11-11-2025
Scorpio
Happy birthday, now, lower your expectations for the rest of the zodiac. Scorpio characters are just fine, it’s the rest of us who will let you down in the coming days. Not on purpose, not always, but I would suggest, this is a function of Mars and Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius, after you, plus Venus slow in Scorpio itself, and what this means? Other signs will probably let you down. Most notable? Sagittarius. Might wAnt to steer clear of us for the next few days. We’re problematic, at best. Not always, but we’re problematic for Scorpio because you tend to listen to everything we say, and then, given Venus is in Scorpio, believe what we say. “Ah, c’mon, even Kramer doesn’t believe everythizgb he says.” (Actually, I do.)
Sagittarius
Mars and Retrograde Mercury set a tone in Sagittarius. Mars is an insistent drive forward, and Mercury, in its retrograde pattern, is about taking steps backwards and reassessing situations. “No. No-no, no. we have to jump on this right now!” I’ll agree that there is a sense of urgency, and I’ll agree that there is a time to act, and I’ll agree that the time to act with this sense of urgency appears to be yesterday. All of that, I’ll agree to. However, I’ll also pull out a book, look something up, a definition, parse an expression, pause to review a point of data. “Wait just a sec,” I’ll say.
I am Sagittarius, too. I feel Mr. Mars and his insistent insistence that action occur right now. I get it. I understand that pressure from within, that pressure from the outside, that pressure that seems heavenly in its sources? Sure, I get that. I also understand that Mercury is layering a little confusion on the top of this. So that means, that would suggest, I would hope to imply that this isn’t the best possible time to take that Mars-infused action. Best example I could think of, off the top of my head? Two Sagittarius, jumping off a tall cliff. “You said we could build a hang glider on the way down, right?” “Yes,” answers the second one, “you got the material right?”
Capricorn
One business associate is too serious. Everything is always serious, all the time. I deal with people. Despite the events being what they are? I understand, at our core, there’s a basic thread of humanity, and in my best Capricorn voice, “People are just no damn good.” Since a printed version can’t hear the irony dripping off that comment, the sneer, the smirk, the wry grin? There has to be that Capricorn interjection, that way of punctuating a commentary with hint of merriment. Can’t be too serious — all the time. “But this is serious!” Yes, I’ll agree that it is serious, but there’s a sense that a smooth hand with cultured, cultivated humor of some ilk will help placate some of the seriousness to one. Doesn’t lessens the degree of difficulty, or the urgent nature of what is happening, but a little humor, even just a wan smile, that goes a long way in making this all a little bit better. As a further refinement? My broad, puerile humor might not be the best answer.
Aquarius
There’s a right way, a wrong way, and my way. My way, to me at least, is far more interesting. Results may vary by individual. As the next week, most near ten days? As this time unfolds in front of your Aquarius selves? There’s a sense, and you’ll hear it in your internal monologue, “Right way, wrong way, and my way.” With no doubt whatsoever? The last element, the piece that falls into the category of “my way?” That works best. No one else understands, and given the unstable nature of some of the reality at the moment? If it makes sense then it makes sense, and if it makes sense to only your Aquarian mind? That’s all that matters, for the time being. This might not be a permanent solution, but for the current set of conditions, the current climate, and the way this looks? “Right way, wrong way, or my way?” Your way. The Aquarian Way, as that fits for the current set of conditions.
Pisces
In the next few days, what you run into? Sometime, some place, maybe right next door, in your living room or just down the street? Perhaps in further flung locations, never can tell, exactly, as the position of the planets hint at this, but don’t accurately say for sure, but the hint? There’s always a troubled soul that you — Pisces — can’t save. Always one that you want to help, but alas, no amount of good Pisces ministrations can save that person from themselves. This where a slightly tougher stance works best unless, of course, you’re sending me money, that’s always welcome, but otherwise? The expenditure of emotional capital is more what this is about, and investing your Pisces feelings in a hopeless cause, while noble, and usually well-received? Long-term, this does no good for yourself. Save yourself, first. Like the old airline adage, the reminder, “If you’re traveling with someone who needs assistance, put your mask on first.” Think I’ve got that in the fineprint someplace.
Aries
I always like the notion that goes a little like this, “I think I can get away with it, just this one time.” Just this once, you think, dear Aries, that you won’t get caught. It’s sure-fire, can’t-miss opportunity, and there’s no way you can get called up short on this problem. Quick, easy, dirty. Maybe not totally legal, but who’s going to know? Therein is the problem. “Problem? But no one would know!” You would, and given that the holiday crush is upon us? Other than one person who would know, and those who didn’t know, you might feel compelled to tell, and we’re back where we started. If it is illegal, immoral, or just over the line? Maybe not. I would suggest a hard “No,” but that seems too forthright. “Hard pass,” might be the right answer. Just because you think, right now, you can get away with it? Can you really? What are the realistic odds?
Taurus
Personally, I got so tired of repeating the same material, over and over, about what to do when Mercury was Retrograde, and how it wasn’t bad, just a natural course of events that seem out of place? “The time is out of joint—O cursed spite,/That ever I was born to set it right!” (Hamlet I.v) But there we have it. Time is out of joint, and cursed spite, someone has to try and right the good ship Taurus. My quick, week-long suggestion? It’s all higgedly-piggedly, and trying to corral, herd, arrange, or even minster to the needs of the chaotic masses doesn’t serve Taurus well. Pause, and let them all run crazy, that is, let them all run a little crazy with no assistance — no assistance whatsoever — from your sanguine Taurus self. “So, let me get this straight, no big moves, no sudden moves for the next week?” Correct. Maybe for a little longer, no sudden motion, week, ten days?
Gemini
I notice this more in Austin than any other place. It’s the carefully curated casual appearance. I was watching the young couple, some kind of a coffee date, but what I noticed, after a few moments? She was very carefully, possibly expensively attired, but it was all done in such a way as to appear casual — like, “No big deal.” The jeans were artful, almost strategically ripped in places, not a natural wear-pattern, but cautiously revealing. Then, at the bottom, they were carefully cuffed. One upon a time, I wore jeans, and I wore them carefully rolled at the bottom hem, so that’s why I noticed. Crisp cuff on the jeans, but the appearance was super-casual. Bet that T-shirt cost more than my keyboard. It’s the appearance of casual, and how hard we try. I don’t try hard, I just refuse to dress up except for certain state occasions. I’ve structured my own life like that. I live in shorts, sandals and loud-print shirts. That’s me. Gemini: don’t waste time, resources, and worse, energy trying to be casual, unless, of course that one person, think she was trying to send a message to her morning coffee date.
Cancer
Long-lamented, never truly answered. When did we lose our sense of wonder? When did that child-like glee with everything new, under the sun, when everything was fresh, interesting, and animated? There’s a child’s sense of wonder that’s missing these days, and it must be recaptured, and the only one who might do this? The Moon Children, the sign of the crab, Cancer. Someone needs to find that sentiment, that everything underfoot is amazing, and how even a simple stuffed animal is a person to some. I watched as a small, tow-headed child sat her stuffed friend down, and then the kid danced around the friend, gathered a few more toys together, and made to feed her friends. She asked, interacted, and cavorted with the stuffed animal. I realized that the sense of wonder, in the eyes of a child, we’ve lost that. Jupiter, in Cancer, suggests we get back in touch with that child-like sense of wonder. It’s there, if we just open our eyes.
The Leo
“Wasn’t this like the worst Mercury Retrograde ever?” It’s a familiar comment, one I’m used to hearing, and it fits, sort of, this week, for The Majestic Leo. It’s not better, nor any worse, than what has gone before. What has happened is the current events against a backdrop of what is going on, even now, in Leo? It’s not bad, but the run-up to the holidays is problematic, and the aftermath of plans that seem to fall apart? Again, I know it all falls in perfectly ordered disorder, but not everyone agrees with this. I’ll get a comment, and then, “Like that was supposed to happen?” Yes and no, not to equivocate too much, but yeah, no. Or no, yes. It’s the planets and they will carve some confusion and layered on top of this nominal mercurial confusion there’s the added stress of the proximity of the holidays and their concomitant problems. Good luck with that. Remember: it’s not you; it’s the planets.
Virgo
Ever have to learn, then relearn, a lesson? Over and over, time and again? It repeats until we understand the true meaning of whatever that lesson might be. In my case, using me and this Mercury Retrograde as an example? Not only do I have to relearn what I already knew, and have long since forgotten, but need to onboard that material again, but Virgo? Same thing. It’s back, you have to learn it over again, the old material that you used to know is presented again, albeit in a slightly different state. Presentation is usually different, but the underpinning, the basic premise? It’s all the same. That means? That means there’s nothing “new” this week, but old lessons, and how you gently acquiesce to that new/old message? True test of your Virgo humanity. Not me, but others have suggested that some Virgo are more robot than human. Perish the thought.
Libra
I am unsure, on some days, if there is anything as glorious as office supplies. My life is greatly simplified, and I use less and less available resources instead of more, while I’ve fine-tuned my usage to a certain point, but I’m happy about that. However, breaking open a new blank book, I regularly run through these things at about one or two in a month or so, but breaking open a new blank book? There’s a brief level of excitement that it brings, a kind of happiness, and sense of hope. It’s that sense hope, and that incessant mining for ideas, still digging, constantly searching, and forever wrestling dreams to the page, in one form or another. I’m as much motivated by authors from the last hundred years as I am by the classics and classical lit. Plus new stuff. There’s a kind of excitement that office supplies bring about. Like, uncapping a new pen, I tend towards sharpies-style of broad, felt-tip permanent markers. Just easier, and requires less motor control. Simple and effective, and abundantly available. So this is a time for office supplies, and what they can do.
