Piss in your shoe: 2025

Looking back to look forward? An aging, yet still valid piece of advice I tend to favor?

Look over your shoulder to see where you’ve been;
then plot a way forward.

Glance back;
do not dwell in the past.

Heeding some of my own advice? Look back and start at my yearly overview, from the beginning of 2025, dated Dec. 31, 2024.

In the year, at one point where I’m especially proud and happy? “Proud” might be the wrong word, but self-satisfied within a family and professional situation. Situations? Instead of the old, tried and true method of throwing more fuel on the fire, heeding my own advice? I stayed clear of exacerbating a situation.

Like that (astronaut) Alan Shepard prayer. (See Sagittarius.)
