Horoscopes for 3-3-2026
These late eclipses in the sun and moon portend no good to us. Though the wisdom of nature can reason it thus and thus, yet nature finds itself scourg’d by the sequent effects.

Pisces
Plunge in the Pisces past. The pre-history of Pisces? I can recall two catastrophic motor failures on the race track. My bike, my motorcycle, its big-bore motors failed twice. One time, I’ll admit, was a construction error. But one time, and I was thinking about it since I carried that cylinder head around with me for years, one time? A stock piece finally gave up. Capitulated. Over-worked. It was a piece of hardware that served its duty long after any rational expectations of service could be expected. That it lasted that long? A tribute to the marque and over-engineered construction. It effectively killed that motor. But we had a good, long run together. That piece of equipment lasted much longer, and went further, exceeded all reasonable expectations and even exceeded a few unreasonable expectations. Something was going to break, and that was hardware that outlived its useful life by a large factor. Me thinking about a failure is a way for you to not fail: there’s a part, a piece, a link in the Pisces chain of being that needs to be replaced before it breaks. Mercury, Retrograde? Eclipse? Just replace that part before it breaks.
Aries
There’s a portion of my misspent youth when I was self-taught about certain motors. Not exactly a high point, but then, not a low point, either, just what it was. I would often use an exploded diagram to understand what parts went where, and how one part interacted with the other pieces. Then I would marvel at the engineering. I was thinking about that exploded diagram as a way to approach Aries.
The technical picture would show what parts went where, and how everything fits together. The images would have dotted lines showing what parts fit where, and then, even fainter dotted lines to show what connectors were used to hold the pieces in place. It’s important that Aries holds it together. How all of this fits together? Follow those dotted lines, the instructions, and follow the instructions as they are laid out. Exactly as they are laid out. Exactly. Follow the instructions exactly. Works much better that way.
Taurus
One of the tricks I’ve learned over the arc of this career? What qualifies as “intuition,” and what’s really just my own narrative, having fun. What’s my mind, my own imagination, my own inventive foolishness having its way with the story I’m trying to piece together for someone else? What’s real, what’s not real, and what’s pure fantasy? Until Venus aligns with Saturn? Until then? The Taurus Intuition is highly suspect. Means I wouldn’t trust it. Might be true. Might not. Might be the fantasy you want, rather than a graphic illustration of what is right in front of you. Hopes, dreams, desires, and pure fiction all seem real until — like I suggested — Venus aligns with Saturn. And until that moment, and then the moment passes? Until then? I wouldn’t really trust the internal guidance.
Gemini
Some years back, I looked long-term, looked as far down the line as I could. I was figuring, what would this look like in a few years? What could I do, what’s best practices, and what parts do I want to cling to? All a guessing game, really, as no one knows for sure, but the parts that I could stick with? As a good Gemini, what are the parts and pieces that you enjoy the most? What are the parts of the game that seem to fulfill you? These are valid questions, and the answers yield short-term pointers — at least three possible directions, three possible avenues, three possible versions you want to pursue in the next few days. “When you say, ‘few days,’ that’s like in the next hour, right?” No, in the next few days, as defined by a minimum of 72 hours, but preferably a week to ten days. Your Mileage May Vary, but an idea, your ideas, are worthy of Mercury Retrograde Investigation.
The Portable Mercury Retrograde
Cancer
I found one way to understand the internal, emotional debate that is ongoing, even now, in the beating in the chest of the Moon Children’s heart? Figure out where the desire comes from. Is it from hunger, an emotional button pushed by an ex-lover, a dead cohort, or leftover tugs on the heart strings? It’s not a matter of wanting something, or someone or some desired change, it’s about understanding from whence that desire, that root causation, the basis for the wanton need. Desire, and self-justified desire at that? Not enough. We’ve got to delve a little, look under the desire itself and find a root source for that desire. This is perfect time, under these astrological set-up in Pisces, perfect time to look at the source of the desire. Look for the source and see if that changes what it is you want.
The Leo
There was a passage from early American realism that came to mind. The language itself was a somewhat dated, but I kept hearing that passage in my mind, wondering how that applied to The Leo. It’s about Fate and how if one’s fate isn’t what one would like, then the Fates should be deprived of managing peoples’ outcomes. Going to run into this idea, that the Universe, the odd gods, some deity, something is not doing a good job of making the appointed rounds. What should be coming for The Leo is wealth and the security that it promises. What happens is that it looks bad. It’s not really that bad, and no, we won’t get into a pissing match over how bad is it, but this a temporary situation. The only permanent problem? Leo action that really isn’t necessary at the moment. “But I had to do it! Can’t you see?” I can, and I suggest waiting before you push the button, pull the plug, or take some other kind of action.b
Virgo
We’ve been over this, and we will cover this same ground again. Individually, none of this is a problem. Collectively, your Virgo selves are being manipulated and massaged towards a goal. Perhaps this feels like you’re being pushed in a direction you don’t want to go? Perhaps it feels like obvious coercion? Maybe it feels like someone is standing behind you, pushing you forward? Instead of doing the valiant Virgo thing, and acting like you don’t want this to push you around? I’d suggest a letting the gentle, or not-so-gentle, forces shove you around and see where it lands. I doubt it’s any place you want to be long, but for a brief moment, next week or two? Try letting those outside influences win. See where it takes you. Probably want to make sure you leave some way to undo what’s been done, but that’s just a Virgo brain being rational. Leave a breadcrumb trail back?
Libra
There’s a certain lack of precision, and then? There’s a certain desire for the very precision that’s lacking. “You always want what you can’t have?” There’s that, but I’m less on board with that idea, and more stuck on getting something worked out — but this something doesn’t want to get worked out right now. “But we need to know!” I’ll agree with Libra, but then, I’m agreeable like that. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that the two planets, Neptune and Saturn are crosswise and conjunct, opposite from Libra, and Mr. Mercury, with a plethora of planets is retrograde in Pisces, all of that adds up to not being able to deliver a precise packet of information. There is no clear course. Muddle forward and be willing to adjust as need be to new input as it becomes available. Which it will — eventually. But? Maybe not this week.
Scorpio
There’s a kind of muscle memory I get. Seemed like a month of Sundays since I fished last. I spooled up some new fishing line on an old reel, and I found myself standing on a dock, wan winter light in the middle of the day, the fish barely stirring, but I tested that arrangement. It worked, and muscle memory seemed to kick into gear., Spent years, decades or more, fishing, and therefore? When I cast that first time, it all come back, what hands does what, the shoulder, the wrist, with that one pole, I can usually snap my wrist and it whips the bait out pretty far. I tend to think of little waves and spots in the water as targets, and the underwater vegetation helps. But this is about that muscle memory, and the time spent “practicing” before. Instead of thinking about it, which is a good habit to have, but instead of a detailed mental analysis, let the instincts take over. Let the muscle memory handle what needs to happen. Over-thinking leads to bigger problems and fewer Scorpio solutions.
Sagittarius
My old coffee bean grinder had a setting for the supposed number of cups of coffee. I tended to use an 8-cup pour-over, and I usually set that grinder for 6 cups. I found, and I tend to just guess and estimate on a cold winter’s morning, but I found that that the 6-cups setting produced the right amount of ground coffee for my 8-cups maker. Not too strong, not too light, just right. I also suspect that I only used a little less than 6 cups of hot water, and allowing for the filter, spillage, and absorption? 5 cups of coffee? It was around a liter, and I’m not doing the math on that. I had a system that worked, and I didn’t have to waste time measuring, it was all pre-set. I know what worked, after years of approximations and experimentation. Things change. The pile-up of planets in Pisces, occultation, and other stuff? Change is happening in Sagittarius, and much of this feels like it not of our own making. But is it? And can we adjust to new tools to achieve the same results, or the results that we want?
Capricorn
One brand of coffee I was getting? The bags suggested different messages about the coffee itself, “Medium roast, low acidity,” then some fanciful language about “hints of cheery, oak, and smoke.” It was “low acidity” that caught my attention. I’ve always thought that the French or Italian roasts were actually lower, the lighter roasts tended to have more acidity. But I’m not a true Capricorn coffee connoisseur, so I might have this wrong. Then too, in these closing winter months, I’ve been known to mess with the morning coffee just for the sake of my own entertainment. While I was looking, I kept thinking the lower acidity might be easier on my increasingly tender tummy. The problem being is that I consume a lot of coffee most mornings. Might not be the brand or the beans, might be the quantity. As a cautiously caffeinated Capricorn yourself? What’s that balance point? What’s too much? What’s the right combination, and how much do the ingredients play into the Capricorn solution, the quantity?
Aquarius
It’s about recognizing cycles, circles within circles, and then? Taking corrective action to prevent the cycles from show up like this, again. Can’t stop what’s already in place, but rolling forward within those extant groupings, circles and cycles therein? Recognize, acknowledge, and then? Corrective Aquarius action to insure that the same mistakes aren’t repeated. I’m not much of an example, but I’ll make the same mistake two or three times, just to be sure, and only then will I try a different avenue to find that solution. But can an Aquarius learn from my mistakes? Or can an Aquarius learn from previous mistakes? The nature of the eclipse cycle, and what’s going on in the world? It’s easy to see what didn’t work, and how not to repeat that same mistake.
