Astrology Questions: Ask the Astrologer Three
Typical Astrology Questions from Ask the Astrologer, should be a series, alas, it’s not.
“When is my boyfriend going to leave his wife for me?”
I was thinking about this, and I realized there’s a simple analogy, a clear metaphor, might help with this answer.
Ever buy a house? Part of the transaction is called “Title Insurance,” which includes a title search. Where I live — now — has lands that show clear title all the way back to Spanish Land Grants. One favorite image shows the Bexar County Sheriffs Office established in 1731.
So, when purchasing a piece of property with a title? There’s title insurance, and a title search, all of which just goes to prove that there’s a clear title for the land. No encumberments, like previous deeds, or what easements show up, mineral and water rights, that sort of issue.
Thinks about that question, in the same light.
“When is my boyfriend going to leave his wife for me?”
There are vriations on themes, where X1 is female, and Y1 is male, so do the math, X1 is waiting on X2, or Y1, or however one would like to stack that up — cf. Astrology Compatibility by Birthdate and its printed version, Fishing Guide to the Stars: Fishing for love thru the zodiac. X1, X2, Y1, Y2, X1 + Y1, X1 + X2, Y1 + X2, and any combination thereof, but the problem is, there’s no clear title to the one who is being pursued. Or pursuing a secondary, no, no clear title.
When someone tells me the relationship status is “complicated,” I’ve come to assume that means no clear title.
For me, this isn’t a problem. For the people who are involved, yeah, might be problematic.
The question now takes a step out of the realm of astrology and bumps down to common sense. For years, I had one buddy, he finally realized after pointelssly pursuing a female, it wasn’t going to happen, but it took years. He eventually calls me up and aksed if he sounded like woman, “Oh man, I sounded just like your girls.”
Yes, yes he did.
So this isn’t gender specific, although, I parsed its most common form.
I greatly enjoy my work, but when I encounter this kind of situation, my empathy gets ramped up a notch, and I feel the pain, the angst, the anguish caused by the situation. Then, my Sagittarius hopeful side kicks in, “This could work out, if only…” Therein is our problem, and the common answer, “If only.”
So, for one of the most common questions in astrology? The actual answer varies from chart to chart, but for a general guideline?
Ascertain that there is clear title to the person.
