Eclipse Pattern 2018
January 31, 2018 11 Aquarius/Leo and Feb 15, 2018 21 Aquarius.
This set of eclipses brings this pattern to its resolution.
The first of the motion was set in place in July/August of 2016, then sharply punctuated in August of 2017, and this is the conclusion.
“These late eclipses in the sun and moon portend no good to us. Though the wisdom of nature can reason it thus and thus, yet nature finds itself scourg’d by the sequent effects. Love cools, friendship falls off, brothers divide: in cities, mutinies; in countries, discord; in palaces, treason; and the bond crack’d ’twixt son and father. This villain of mine comes under the prediction; there’s son against father: the King falls from bias of nature; there’s father against child. We have seen the best of our time. Machinations, hollowness, treachery, and all ruinous disorders follow us disquietly to our graves.”
Gloucester in Shakespeare’s Lear, 1.2.57
A little shortened, as much for emphasis and to get to the point — the eclipse isn’t bad, but thinking thusly can make it so.
This is the last of the series, and what it does is put the final punctuation to the meaning of the events. There’s a notation, this is along a very “fixed” axis, Aquarius being fixed air, and The Leo being fixed fire.
N.B.: The Leo is the very best fixed fire sign.
However, when the Sun is in Aquarius, like now, the eclipse action draws attention away from the majestic Leo, and perhaps that isn’t such a bad way for this to fall.
Old astrology joke, how to really piss off The Leo? Ignore Them (royal pronoun).
As this eclipse action and energies unfold, being ignored isn’t always a slight.
Because the eclipses are about oppositions, the trick with this is to realize when that opposition — when the public’s eye — that attention — realize when that attention is drawn elsewhere.
“Wow, would you look at that?”
This can be a ruse, subterfuge, a trick, a trap, or this can be good.
“Wow, hope no one saw that.”

Understanding the energies present make it a lot easier to find the best use. First off, this is the final part of this series. Maybe the whole story isn’t over yet, but this is the final piece to this puzzle. There might be more stuff in the box, but we haven’t unpacked it yet, and that must wait until a better time.
An 18-month cycle of “I don’t want to change,” combined with “I must change this now!” That cycle comes to a conclusion about two weeks — most near the end of February.
One of the largest problems is the upcoming astrological weather, and for that, in a weekly installment, I do a horoscope. But as an overview, with a concentration on the meaning of the eclipse action, February is about getting ready — the final push — to be in a prepared position for the start of the new astrological year. Not like this one will be smooth, not with what’s just up ahead, but getting a grip and corralling the material from the eclipse seasons into a final form, or a finished form, or a form that could be polished some more, but will do for now? That’s what this is all about.

And the noble and true-hearted Kent banish’d! His offense, honesty! ’Tis strange.”
