As You Like It Summer 2023
Turned out to be opening night. I glanced at some scholarly material, enough to know, it was a problem play, but in this production? Just joyful romp through the idyllic countryside.
Not too heavy a hand with the metaphors, but as an image?

Looking west, during the interval, Mercury was just setting and the twilight didn’t let Mars shine through just yet. From Shakespeare Winedale, always a pleasure, and they certainly did an excellent job with As You Like It.
